Abstract
"Empirische Studien zeigen, dass Auszubildende des Kfz-Handwerks am Ende der Ausbildung häufig nicht in der Lage sind, Ursachen für Fehler in elektrischen und elektronischen Systemen in Kraftfahrzeugen zu diagnostizieren. Eine Kfz-Computersimulation soll daher zu einer multimedialen Lernumgebung erweitert werden, in die zwei anforderungsdifferenzierende Interventionen zur Förderung diagnoserelevanter Rezeptionskompetenz implementiert und auf ihre Wirksamkeit hin überprüft werden. Da keine feindiagnostischen Befunde vorliegen, widmet sich das im Beitrag beschriebene Projekt zunächst der Identifikation häufig auftretender, überindividueller Rezeptionsbarrieren im Fehlerdiagnoseprozess. Methodisch wurde hierfür auf Think-Aloud-Interviews in Kombination mit sog. Cognitive Labs zurückgegriffen, an welchen 24 ProbandInnen teilnahmen, die über eine Vortestung ihrer diagnoserelevanten Rezeptionskompetenz ausgewählt wurden. Die aus dieser Untersuchung gewonnenen Daten zu diagnoserelevanten Rezeptionsanforderungen und -barrieren stellen eine erfolgversprechende Basis zur Entwicklung passgenauer Interventionen dar. Ferner liefert die Untersuchung Erkenntnisse über die eigentliche Fragestellung hinaus, welche den Wert der methodischen Verfahren auch für die Interpretation der Befunde zur Kompetenzmessung bzw. -modellierung und die daraus abzuleitenden praktischen Implikationen unterstreichen." "As research has shown, future motor vehicle mechatronic technicians at the end of their vocational training often fail to successfully diagnose electric and electronic car systems. The project presented in this paper aims at integrating an existing simulation of electronic car systems into two interactive multimedia training programs yet to be developed. Both training programs will focus on the apprentices’ so-called reception competences on different competence levels, and will be evaluated for effectiveness. In a first step, missing evidence on the apprentices’ cognitive barriers in diagnosis-related reception processes was collected. Based on their performance in a pre-test, 24 participants were selected for participation in think-aloud interviews and cognitive labs. The resultant data were analysed and provide a promising basis for developing the training programs. On top of that, our research has yielded valuable findings that shed light on unanswered scientific questions and practical issues, a fact that underlines the power of both interview techniques."
