Abstract
(Autorenreferat, BIBB-Doku)
"The results of a factorial survey conducted as part of the BIBB Training Panel indicate the importance of the establishments training strategy in recruiting decisions between persons with advanced vocational training and persons with a bachelor's degree. Thus, establishments in different industries and occupations do not show a preference for either degree for a wide variety of tasks. The experiment does reveal, however, that establishments that exclusively support advanced vocational training prefer persons with advanced vocational training degrees. Establishments that support studies prefer people with bachelor's and master's degrees. To further enable career opportunities for both training paths, it is important to support the establishments promotion of advanced vocational training." (Authors' abstract, BIBB-Doku)
