Modell zur Erklärung von beruflichen Fehlzeiten

Abstract

"Aufbauend auf theoretischen Ansätzen und empirischer Evidenz zum Zusammenhang von Bildung / Beruf auf der einen Seite und Stress / Gesundheit auf der anderen Seite liefert der Beitrag ein theoretisches Modell zur Erklärung von beruflichen Fehlzeiten. Dabei wird sowohl der Zusammenhang zwischen Bildung / Beruf und Arbeits(un)fähigkeit diskutiert, als auch motivational bedingte Aspekte zur Arbeitswilligkeit (Präsentismus versus Absentismus). Limitationen des Modells werden aufgezeigt und Ansatzpunkte für die Weiterentwicklung des Modells geliefert." (Autorenreferat ; BIBB-Doku)

"The contribution introduces a theoretical model to explain absence based on theoretical approaches and empirical evidence on education / job and stress / health. The model accounts for both, the association of education / job and ability to work and motivational aspect of the willingness to work (presentism versus absenteeism). We also discuss limitations of the model that are good starting points for further developments of the model." (author's abstract)
