Abstract
„Der Artikel beleuchtet die Relevanz beruflicher Handlungskompetenz für eine nachhaltige Entwicklung. Im Bundesinstitut für Berufsbildung (BIBB) werden hierzu Forschungen zu Arbeitsmarktveränderungen und den Anforderungen an Fachkräfte für die Transformation durchgeführt. Eine zentrale Aufgabe der BIBB-Modellversuchsforschung ist demgegenüber, Ansätze für nachhaltige Entwicklung aus beruflichen Potenzialen zu entwickeln. Ein zu diesem Zweck entwickeltes Kompetenzraster fokussiert auf nachhaltigkeitsorientierte berufliche Handlungsfähigkeit, die sachgerechtes, sozial verantwortliches und sinnstiftendes Handeln auf allen Berufsebenen integriert. Es verknüpft systematisch das Leitkonzept beruflicher Handlungskompetenz mit Gestaltungskompetenzen aus dem Diskurs der Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung und liefert curriculare und didaktische Impulse für die Stärkung von Nachhaltigkeit im Beruf.“ (Autorenreferat; BIBB-Doku)
„This article highlights the importance of professions and vocational education for sustainable development. To this end, BIBB is researching both the changes on the labour market and the requirements for qualified skilled workers to manage and shape the transformation. One of the central tasks of BIBB’s pilot projects is to develop starting points for sustainable development based on the potential of occupations. This has led to the development of a competence grid for vocational education and training that is oriented towards sustainability-oriented vocational action and integrates appropriate, socially responsible and meaningful action at all occupational levels. This competence grid combines the guiding concept of vocational action competence with the design competences in the discourse on education for sustainable development and thus promotes the sustainable transformation of the world of work through innovation and knowledge transfer in training.“ (authors‘ abstract; BIBB-Doku)
