| dc.description.abstract | Der vorliegende Band der ITB-Arbeitspapiere liefert einen State-of-the-Art-Bericht zum Projekt "Participation in Continuing Vocational Education and Training" (PARTICIPA). Im Rahmen des Projektes wird anhand von sechs ausgewählten Regionen Europas (Bremen - Deutschland, Coventry - England, Patras - Griechenland, Rom - Italien, Alentejo und Lissabon - Portugal, Extremadura - Spanien) untersucht, inwieweit bestimmte Faktoren (strukturelle, organisatorische, individuelle) eine Teilnahme von Facharbeitern und technischen Beschäftigten in kleinen und mittleren Unternehmen (KMU) an Weiterbildungsmaßnahmen beeinflussen. Die Analyse in den einzelnen Regionen bezieht sich jeweils auf den IT-Sektor sowie einen weiteren Bereich, der nach regionalen Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt wird (in Bremen z.B. die Luft- und Raumfahrtechnik).
