Veränderungen in Pflegeberuf und Pflegeausbildung – Intentionen und Effekte der Reform aus Sicht der Begleitforschung

Abstract

„Die Reform der Pflegeausbildung hat die Intention, den Beruf für Interessent*innen attraktiver zu machen, die beruflichen Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten der Absolvent*innen zu vergrößern sowie den veränderten fachlichen Anforderungen der pflegerischen Versorgung passgenauer zu entsprechen. Die Umstellung auf eine generalistische, d. h. alle Versorgungssektoren umfassende Ausbildung ist das Kernstück der Reform, ergänzt um eine neue hochschulische Ausbildungsform. In der vom Bundesinstitut in Auftrag gegebenen Begleitforschung wird mit einem mixed-method-Design der Umsetzungsprozess aus Sicht aller beteiligten Akteursgruppen untersucht. Bisherige Befunde verweisen einerseits auf Erfolgsindikatoren, wie eine große Akzeptanz der Veränderungen; sie zeigen andererseits da Limitierungen der Umsetzung auf, wo diese auf personelle und strukturelle Probleme treffen, die bereits vorab bestanden. Der Beitrag präsentiert und diskutiert ausgewählte Ergebnisse im Kontext veränderter Anforderungen an den Beruf und mit Blick auf ein sich wandelndes Berufsprofil.“ (Autorenreferat; BIBB-Doku)

„The reform of nursing education is intended to make the profession more attractive to prospective students, to increase the professional development opportunities of graduates, and to meet the changed professional requirements of nursing care more accurately. The changeover to generalist education, i.e. vocational training that covers all sectors of care, is the core of the reform, supplemented by a new form of university-based education. In the accompanying research commissioned by the Federal Institute of Vocational Education, a mixed-method design is being used to examine the implementation process from the perspective of all groups of actors involved. Findings point to success factors, such as a high level of acceptance of the changes; on the other hand, they reveal limitations of the implementation process where it encounters personnel and structural problems that already existed before. The article presents and discusses selected results in the context of changing demands on the profession and with a view to a changing professional profile.“ (authors’ abstract; BIBB-Doku)
