Abstract
"The forming of groups of learners is often poorly founded. Teachers leave the composition to the learners themselves or apply heuristics. By contrast, the article offers a method for systematically forming learning groups based on selected characteristics and, thus, learning requirements. For this purpose, the learning-theoretical argumentation of the benefits of heterogeneous learning groups is addressed as well as feature-based typing as a problem of didactic fit. Subsequently, the empirical and statistical possibilities of learning group determination are explained in a methodical outline and explained using the example of a learning task in the area of medical assistants."
