Entwicklung eines Online-Trainings für soziale und emotionale Kompetenzen bei Medizinischen Fachangestellten in der Ausbildung

Abstract

„Dieser Beitrag beschreibt ein Online-Training für soziale und emotionale Kompetenzen bei angehenden Medizinischen Fachangestellten (MFA) in Deutschland. Soziale und emotionale Kompetenzen (SEK) sind eine notwendige Voraussetzung sowohl für die Zusammenarbeit mit Kolleginnen und Kollegen als auch für den Kunden- oder Patientenkontakt. Im deutschen dualen Berufsbildungssystem gelten sie daher als wesentliche Bestandteile des Profils der meisten Ausbildungsberufe. Gleichwohl gibt es bislang nur wenige Materialien für das systematische Training dieser Kompetenzen. In früheren Studien wurden drei SEK ermittelt, die für MFA besonders bedeutsam sind: Emotionsregulation, Perspektivenkoordination und Kommunikationsstrategien. Gleichzeitig wurde festgestellt, dass bei allen drei Kompetenzen Entwicklungsbedarf besteht. Aus diesem Grund wurde das dreistündige Online-Trainingsprogramm SECoTrain (Social and Emotional Competence Training) entwickelt, das Trainingseinheiten für alle drei Kompetenzen anbietet. In diesem Beitrag soll gezeigt werden, wie die Förderung von SEK mit einem digitalen Training erfolgen kann. Zudem werden die damit verbundenen Vorteile und Herausforderungen sowie Wege zu deren Bewältigung erörtert. Im Beitrag werden sowohl die Ziele und Inhalte als auch die Methoden und didaktischen Grundsätze von SECoTrain erläutert. Außerdem werden Ergebnisse zur Bewertung des Trainings durch 173 Auszubildende vorgestellt.“ (Autorenreferat; BIBB-Doku)„This paper describes a digital training for social and emotional competences for prospective medical assistants (MAs) in Germany. Social and emotional competences (SEC) are necessary for the collaboration with colleagues as well as for the contact with customers or patients. The German dual system of vocational education and training (VET) therefore considers them as essential parts of the profile of most training occupations. Nevertheless, few materials exist so far for the systematic training of these competences. In former studies three SEC have been identified as essential for MAs: emotion regulation, perspective coordination and communication strategies. At the same time development needs have been identified for all of them. To address these needs the three hours online training programme SECoTrain (Social and Emotional Competence Training) has been developed, which offers separate training sessions for all three competences. The aim of the paper is to depict how the fostering of SEC can be approached via a digital training. In addition, we will discuss associated advantages as well as challenges and ways to deal with them. The paper presents goals and content as well as methods and pedagogical principles of SECoTrain.
