Die Modellierung adjustierter Suchdauern als Indikator für die Fachkräftesituation im Beruf

Abstract

„Zur Identifikation beruflicher Passungsprobleme auf dem Arbeitsmarkt bedarf es eines Indikators, welcher unter Berücksichtigung möglicher Anpassungsprozesse beider Marktseiten einfach zu interpretieren ist. Das QuBe-Projekt modelliert dafür anhand der IAB-Stellenerhebung sogenannte adjustierte Suchdauern. Diese geben für Fachkraft-, Spezialisten- oder Expertentätigkeiten die mittlere Anzahl an Tagen an, die es benötigt, um für die Besetzung einer ausgeschriebenen Stelle eine geeignete Person zu finden. Sie lassen sich anhand der im QuBe-Instrumentarium verankerten berufsspezifischen Arbeitsmarktindikatoren fortschreiben und können nach Berufen, Anforderungsniveaus und Regionen Auskunft über die jetzige und künftig mögliche Fachkräftesituation geben.“ (Autorenreferat; BIBB-Doku)

„To identify occupational matching problems in the labor market, an indicator is needed that is easy to interpret, taking into account possible adjustment processes on both sides of the market. For this purpose, the QuBe project models so-called adjusted search durations on the basis of the IAB job survey. These indicate the average number of days required to find a suitable person to fill an advertised position for skilled, specialist or expert jobs. They can be forecasted by using the occupation-specific labor market indicators anchored in the QuBe toolkit and they can provide information about the current and possible future skilled labor situation by occupation, requirement level and region.“ (authors‘ abstract; BIBB-Doku)
