Gelingende Übergänge in den Beruf : Evaluation eines modularen Schulprojekts im Förderschwerpunkt emotional-soziale Entwicklung

Abstract

"Für Schülerinnen und Schüler mit dem Förderbedarf emotionale und soziale Entwicklung stellen sich an der Transition Schule - Beruf zahlreiche Herausforderungen, die sie oftmals nur unzureichend bewältigen können. Hierbei wirken Einflussfaktoren unterschiedlicher Lebens- und Entwicklungsbereiche ineinander und bilden hochkomplexe Risikostrukturen für potenziell misslingende Übergänge. Die erste Schwelle ist jedoch die zentrale Weichenstellung für die Teilhabe am Erwerbsleben; darüber hinaus erfüllt die berufliche Integration auch wichtige psychohygienische Funktionen. Die Vorbereitung und Begleitung des Übergangs sind folglich als zentrales schulisches Aufgabenfeld zu sehen. Das Projekt "Gelingende Übergänge in das Leben und in den Beruf" setzt hier an. Es wurde an der Hermann-Hesse-Schule, einer Förderschule des Kreises Gütersloh entwickelt und wird dort seit dem Jahr 2016 umgesetzt. Eingebunden sind hierbei insbesondere der Kreis Gütersloh sowie die Reinhard-Mohn-Stiftung, welche das Projekt in der inhaltlichen Entwicklung und durch finanzielle Förderung unterstützt. Im Projekt selbst werden verschiedene Bausteine wie Elemente schulischer Berufsorientierung, Mentoringkonzepte und auch ein Case-Management eingesetzt. Verschiedene Gremien tragen zur Abstimmung unter den Projektpartnern bei. Zum Ende der ersten Projektphase wurde der Lehrstuhl Pädagogik bei Verhaltensstörungen der Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg durch die Reinhard Mohn-Stiftung mit einer wissenschaftlichen Evaluation beauftragt. Diese wurde auf Basis vier zentraler Forschungsfragen in einem Mixed-Method-Design umgesetzt. Der vorliegende Band enthält eine Darstellung des Projektes, verbunden mit einer Einordung in den Forschungsstand. Methodik, Vorgehen sowie Ergebnisse der Projektevaluation werden ausführlich dargestellt und diskutiert; ergänzende Weiterentwicklungsimpulse werden abschließend aufgezeigt." (Verlag ; BIBB-Doku)

"For students with a special need for social and emotional development the transition from school to working life presents numerous challenges, which they are often not able to cope with sufficiently. Influencing factors of different areas of life and development interact and form highly complex risk structures for potential failure of transitions. However, the first threshold sets the course for participation on the labour market. Moreover, occupational integration is absolutely necessary for important psycho-hygienic functions. Therefore, preparation and accompaniment of transition have to be considered as a central field of activity in school. Related to this fact the project "successful transitions into life and work" was developed at the Hermann-Hesse-School, a school for special needs of the district of Gütersloh. The project has been implemented since 2016. In particular, the district of Gütersloh as well as the Reinhard Mohn Foundation are involved. Both support the research project concerning content-related development and by funding. A number of modules are used for the project such as career orientation in school, mentoring concepts as well as case management. Various committees contribute to coordination among the project partners. At the end of the first project phase the Chair of Special Education - Education for People with Emotional and Behavioural Disorders - at the Julius-Maximilians-University Würzburg was charged with the conduction of a scientific evaluation by the Reinhard Mohn Foundation. This was implemented in a mixed-method-design based on four central research questions. The present book contains a description of the project combined with a classification into the state of research. Methods, procedures as well as results of the project evaluation are presented and discussed in detail. Finally, additional important impulses for school development are concluded."
