Abstract
„This article compares two cross-phase higher education concepts in vocational teacher education developed at Justus-Liebig-Universität Giessen : KOMPASS and MET-EL. Both concepts aim to systematically foster reflexive professionalization and to ensure cross-phase coherence. While KOMPASS is based on a curriculum-embedded reflection architecture supported by e-portfolios, MET-EL emphasizes cooperative learning scenarios between students and teachers in preparatory service. The article highlights commonalities and differences in the respective innovation logics and transfer structures, situates them within the educational science system levels, and illustrates their mutual connectivity. In addition, conditions for successful and sustainable transfer are identified, and higher education vocational teaching programs as well as educational policy implications for the further development of cross-phase formats are discussed.” (authors’ abstract; BIBB-Doku)
