Berufsausbildung und Digitalisierung - ein Beispiel aus der Automobilindustrie

Abstract

"Wie verändert die Digitalisierung die Arbeitsaufgaben und damit die Qualifikationsanforderungen an Fachkräfte und was heißt das für die Weiterentwicklung einschlägiger dualer Ausbildungsberufe und der betrieblichen Ausbildung? Diesen Fragen folgte ein Pilotprojekt, das das BIBB gemeinsam mit der Volkswagen Akademie in Bereichen des Betreibens, der Wartung und der Instandhaltung von digitalisierten Produktionssystemen an insgesamt fünf Unternehmensstandorten durchgeführt hat. Das vorliegende Diskussionspapier stellt die methodische Herangehensweise, wichtigste Ergebnisse, Anregungen für die Ordnungsarbeit und Empfehlungen für die notwendige Weiterentwicklung der betrieblichen Ausbildung vor. Es gibt so Impulse für Folgeprojekte und für die praktische Arbeit in betrieblichen Ausbildungsabteilungen. Darüber hinaus werden Fragen wie z.B. zur Prüfungs- und Ausbildungsgestaltung thematisiert, die für die Diskussion um die Weiterentwicklung des Berufsbildungssystems von Interesse sind." "How is digitalisation changing the work activities and skills requirements of skilled workers, and what does this mean for the further development of relevant dual training occupations and for company-based training? These questions have been tackled by a pilot project jointly conducted by BIBB and the Volkswagen Academy, which looked at the areas of operation, repair and maintenance of digitalised production systems at a total of five company locations. This discussion paper presents the methodological approach adopted, the most important results, proposals for regulatory work, and recommendations for the necessary further development of company-based training. It thus provides impetuses for follow-up projects and for practical work in company training departments. Other issues of interest in the debate surrounding the further development of the VET system, such as the structuring of training and of examinations, are also addressed." (Authors' abstract)
