Die curriculare Integration des Lernortes „Betrieb“ am Beispiel des Gegenstandes „Betriebspraxis“ in technisch-gewerblichen Fachschulen – Ergebnisse einer Evaluierung

Abstract

„An berufsbildenden Schulen in Österreich ist eine zunehmende Integration des Lernortes Betrieb zu beobachten. Am Beispiel des kürzlich eingeführten Unterrichtsgegenstandes Betriebspraxis an technisch-gewerblichen Fachschulen soll untersucht werden, wie der Lernort Betrieb in die schulische Ausbildung konkret integriert wird. Dazu wird eine Lehrplananalyse des Gegenstandes Betriebspraxis durchgeführt. Anschließend werden ausgewählte Ergebnisse einer Befragung von SchülerInnen (n= 894), die eine Betriebspraxis kürzlich absolviert haben, dargestellt und diskutiert. Dabei zeigt sich, dass der Lernort Betrieb erhebliche Potenziale für berufliches Lernen generieren kann, die jedoch mit der aktuellen Form der Umsetzung nicht vollständig genutzt werden. Neben schulrechtlichen Herausforderungen, die zu bewältigen sind, gilt es, ein lerntheoretisch begründetes Konzept auf der Ebene der Lehrpläne und der standortspezifischen Umsetzungsformen zu entwickeln, damit das Potenzial des Lernortes Betrieb für die berufliche Kompetenzentwicklung in schulbasierten Ausbildungsformen genutzt werden kann“ (Autorenreferat; BIBB-Doku)

„At VET schools in Austria, an increasing integration of the company as a learning place can be observed. Using the recently introduced subject “company practice” at technical and vocational colleges as an example, it will be examined how the company as a place of learning is integrated into school education in concrete terms. Considering the recently introduced subject “company practice” at medium-level technical and vocational colleges as an example, it is to be examined how the learning place company is integrated into school based VET in concrete terms. For this purpose, a curriculum analysis of the subject “company practice” was carried out. Subsequently, selected results of a survey of students (n = 894) who have recently completed a “company practice” are presented and discussed. It is shown that the company as a place of learning can generate considerable potential for vocational learning, which, however, is not fully utilised with the current form of implementation. In addition to challenges according the school legislation that need to be overcome, a concept based on learning theory needs to be developed at the level of curricula and location-specific forms of implementation so that the potential of the company as a learning location for vocational competence development can be used in school-based forms of training.“ (author’s abstract; BIBB-Doku)
