Abstract
“This practice report pursues the question of how successful the integration and further development of a middle management level (MEBS = Middle Level at Vocational Schools) is as an instrument of school management at two differently structured vocational schools under the condition of a pandemic situation. The pandemic is thus the touchstone of the MEBS instrument. The knowledge that can be gained and the development steps that can be derived for the future are highlighted as multifaceted as possible through the different approaches of the schools that are involved in the project. B2‘s approach is based on its structured school development process with the fields of organization, personnel and teaching development, while B4 focuses on the analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the system identified by its members of the middle level during the pandemic.” (authors’ abstract; BIBB-Doku)
