Dargestellt wird zu jedem Land nach einem kurzen Überblick über die Geschichte, Geographie, Bevölkerung und Wirtschaft das Bildungssystem allgemein sowie das Berufsbildungssystem im besonderen: die Rolle des Staates in der Berufsausbildung, die an der Berufsbildung beteiligten Institutionen, die Qualifikationsfelder, für die ausgebildet wird und die Qualifikationsstandards, die Ausbildungsprogramme, das Verfahren und die für die Curricula verantwortlichern Institutionen sowie die verschiedenen Typen und Niveaus der Ausbildungsabschlüsse.
