Abstract
„In recent years, vocational education has become less attractive. As a result, the InnoVET project BIRD has developed a vocational training programme in a blended learning design, the evaluation of which is the focus of this article. Using a mixed methods design, blended learning scenarios are analysed from the perspective of teachers, experts and participants. The study highlights the need for precise planning of blended learning scenarios in order to utilise the inherent added value of the learning forms and realise new potential. Furthermore, the importance of systematic communication in preparation for self-learning, the relevance of dovetailing face-to-face and self-learning, the high significance of social exchange in face-to-face teaching and the positive influence on knowledge transfer are emphasised.” (author’s abstract; BIBB-Doku)
