Care Work und Genderkonstrukt als Gegenstand der Arbeitslehre. Historische Systematik und fachdidaktische Ansätze

Abstract

„Der Beitrag wendet sich dem Verhältnis von Care Work und Genderstrukturierung als Gegenstand der Arbeitslehre zu. Dabei werden die in Konzepten der Arbeitslehre verankerten gendercodierten Berufsstrukturen, die soziale Ungleichheit sowie die doppelte Zuständigkeit von Frauen für familiäre und berufliche Sorgearbeit umfassen, in einer vergleichenden historisch-systematischen Betrachtung von der Industriegesellschaft über den Wiederaufbau des Bildungswesens in beiden deutschen Staaten bis in die gegenwärtige Dienstleistungsgesellschaft aufgezeigt und systematisch im Spannungsfeld von Allgemeinbildung und Berufsbildung sowie sozialer Stratifizierung des Bildungswesens analysiert. Gleichzeitig werden aktuelle Handlungsbedarfe und fachdidaktische Ansätze der Ausbildung und Berufswahl/-orientierung für Care Berufe identifiziert und mit Blick auf Fachkräftesicherung und Zukunftsoptionen diskutiert.“ (Autorenreferat; BIBB-Doku)

„This paper addresses the relationship between care work and gender structuring as an object of work studies. In this context, the gender-coded occupational structures embodied in concepts of work studies, which encompass social inequality as well as women's dual responsibility for family and occupational care work, are analyzed. The structures are shown in a comparative historical-systematic view from industrial society through the reconstruction of education in both German states to the present service society. The results are systematically analyzed in the field of tension between general education and vocational training as well as social stratification of the education system. At the same time, current needs for action and didactic approaches to training and career choice/orientation for care professions are identified and discussed with a view to securing skilled workers and options for the future.“ (authors’ abstract; BIBB-Doku)
