Sprachbedarf und berufsspezifische Sprachförderung in der Pflege : methodische Ansätze für eine kontinuierliche Sprachbegleitung

Abstract

"Das Schweizerische Rote Kreuz und das Staatssekretariat für Migration lancierten 2015 das Projekt SESAM, mit dem Ziel Geflüchtete und vorläufig Aufgenommene als Pflegehelferinnen und Pflegehelfer auszubilden und ihnen so die Chance auf eine rasche Eingliederung in den Schweizer Arbeitsmarkt zu bieten. Dabei stellte die berufsspezifische Sprachförderung eine Herausforderung dar. Im vorliegenden Beitrag soll das Projekt SESAM grob skizziert und das im Rahmen des Projekts entwickelte Konzept einer kontinuierlichen berufsspezifischen Sprachbegleitung präsentiert werden. Darüber hinaus soll auf der Basis dieses spezifischen Projektbeispiels grundsätzlich reflektiert werden, mit welchen inhaltlichen, didaktischen methodischen, aber auch moralisch-ethischen Fragen die berufsspezifische Sprachförderung verbunden ist." "In 2015 the Swiss Red Cross and the State Secretariat for Migration launched the SESAM project with the aim of training refugees and temporarily admitted persons as care assistants, thus offering them the chance of rapid integration into the Swiss labour market. The work-related language training posed a challenge. The present paper will give a rough outline of the SESAM project and present the concept of continuous profession-specific language support developed within the project. Additionally, this specific project should serve as a basis for a fundamental reflection on the content, didactic methods as well as the moral and ethical questions associated with language training for professional purposes."
