Abstract

"Die sozialistische Republik Vietnam zeichnet sich in den vergangenen Jahrzehnten durch eine hohe wirtschaftliche Dynamik aus. Diese wird auch in der beruflichen Bildung des Landes sichtbar. Mit der Berufsbildungsreform im Jahr 2014 wurde die bisher unübersichtliche Struktur der Berufsbildung vereinheitlicht und neu strukturiert. Dennoch bleibt die gesellschaftliche Anerkennung der Berufsbildung gering. Überdies trägt der informelle Sektor noch immer erheblich zur Wirtschaftsleistung bei. Das Land steht vor der zentralen Herausforderung, den informellen Sektor mit den Entwicklungen im Berufsbildungssystem zu vereinen und transparente Strukturen im Bereich der Bildungs- und Berufsbildungspolitik zu schaffen." "The socialist Republic of Vietnam has been characterised by a high level of economic dynamism in recent decades. This is also visible in the country‘s vocational education and training system. With the vocational education and training reform in 2014, the previously unclear structure of vocational education and training was standardised and restructured. Nevertheless, the social recognition of VET remains low. Moreover, the informal sector still contributes significantly to economic performance. The country faces the key challenge of unifying the informal sector with developments in the VET system and creating transparent structures in the field of education and VET policy."
