Abstract

"This compendium provides statistics and information on education systems in OECD countries. This year's edition covers the school years 1988/89 and 1989/90. It provides statistics on enrolments at different levels and in different streams of education, enrolment rates in non-compulsory education, completions and qualifications awarded, teachers, and expenditues. It also includes diagrams of education system (updated for most countries) and outlooks for enrolments at different levels of education beyond the year 2000." Teil 1 gibt einen Überblick über Aufbau und Organisation des Bildungssystems in den einzelnen Ländern. Teil 2 bringt Schülerzahlen in den verschiedenen Schularten und Studiengängen, Angaben zu Prüfungen und Diplomen, zur Altersstruktur, zu Lehrern, Finanzierung und Ausgaben; ausserdem werden Perspektiven der Entwicklung der Schüler- und Studentenzahlen bis 2010 aufgezeigt.
