Abstract
„It is challenging for people with disabilities to access vocational education and training, particularly regular dual training. In 2022, the ‘Single Points of Contact for Employers’ (EAA) were introduced. The EAA are intended to address the inequality situation by proactively approaching employers. To do this, the EAA should be well networked in the region by law. From an innovation theory perspective, networking with stakeholders across sectors – education/science, business, politics and civil society – is a prerequisite for success. We therefore analyzed which stakeholders the EAA are networked with at different locations in Germany and which sectors the EAA should network with more closely in the future. A questionnaire survey (N = 24) was conducted in a mixed-method design and egocentric network maps were collected (N = 10). The communicatively validated results show that the EAA are networked with various educational stakeholders, but primarily with institutions from politics and business. Impulses for networking are derived in order to improve transition processes for people with disabilities.” (authors’ abstract; BIBB-Doku)
