Bildung im Medium der Digitalisierung von Arbeit? – Zur Revitalisierung bildungstheoretischer Reflexionen in der Berufs- und Wirtschaftspädagogik

Abstract

„Die Beschäftigung mit den für die Berufs- und Wirtschaftspädagogik vitalen Begriffen Bildung und Beruf ist seit langem, nicht zuletzt durch die Digitalisierung von Arbeit aus der Mode gekommen. Lernen und Arbeiten rücken im Diskurs um die Bildung und den Beruf des Menschen ins Zentrum, der sich nunmehr im Lichte der Digitalisierung von Arbeit vollzieht. Der folgende Beitrag zeigt jedoch auf, dass es auf Bildung(sprozesse) ankommt, die damit einhergehenden, durch die Veränderung des Wirklichkeits- und Möglichkeitsraums der Menschen entstehenden Ambivalenzen zu bewältigen. Deshalb bedarf es einer Revitalisierung des Verständnisses von Bildung und ihrer Rolle in diesem Diskurs. Bildung im Medium der Digitalisierung von Arbeit ist sodann vor allem als dialektischer Begriff zu verstehen und nimmt aus dieser Perspektive heraus eine vitale Funktion in der Berufs- und Wirtschaftspädagogik und ihrer Theoriebildung ein.“ (Autorenreferat; BIBB-Doku)

“In the realm of vocational and business education, the usage of the notions Bildung und Beruf (occupation/vocation) has long been outdated, especially against the background of the digitalization of work. Learning and working have been moved to the center of attention within the discourse around the Bildung and occupation/vocation of humans, which now takes place in the light of the digitalization of work. The following article points out, however, that it is (processes of) Bildung that is needed in order to cope with the concomitant transformations and ambivalences. This is why it requires a revitalization of the understanding of Bildung and its role in the discourse. Bildung mediated through the digitalization of work is, hereby, to be understood as being dialectical, and from this perspective takes up a vital function within the realm of vocational and business education and its theorizing.” (author’s abstract; BIBB-Doku)
