Abstract
“Digitization is changing the requirements for study programs at universities, including business education and development. In this context, the COVID-19 pandemic is currently the most significant impact factor. Online teaching requires a superior coordination between the lecturers regarding a content-wise and methodologically coherent range of courses. Since Austrian study programs at universities do not have any module manuals or similar descriptions (UG 2002, § 58), lectures are widely free in terms of their chosen methods, but also their content-related priorities within the framework of curricular guidelines. To enable good coordination under these conditions, a method map has been used for the master’s program of business education and development in Graz for several years. Based on a current research project with lectures and students of this master’s program, suggestions for the further development of the method map, especially regarding online teaching, are to be obtained.” (authors’ abstract; BIBB-Doku)
