Abstract

“Die Professionalisierungsdebatte um das Personal in der betrieblichen Weiterbildung weist deutliche empirische Lücken auf. Nur wenig ist über die Qualifikationswege und Tätigkeitsfelder, die berufsverbandliche Zugehörigkeit und das berufliche Selbstverständnis von Personen bekannt, die in der betrieblichen Weiterbildung beschäftigt sind. Der Aufsatz leistet in diesem Zusammenhang zweierlei: Zum einen arbeitet er den professionalisierungstheoretischen Diskurs mit Blick auf das betriebliche Weiterbildungspersonal auf. Zum anderen gibt er darauf aufbauend mithilfe einer qualitativen Interviewstudie einen Einblick in dessen professionelles Selbstverständnis, seine Qualifikationswege und berufliche Aufgabenspektren, aber auch Einkommen und Zusatzqualifikationen.” (Autorenreferat; BIBB-Doku)

“There are significant empirical gaps in the debate on the professionalization of personnel in in-company education and training. For example, little is known about the qualification paths and fields of activity, as well as the professional association affiliation and professional self-concept of people employed in this field. The aim of this contribution is twofold: First, it aims to review the discourse on professionalization of in-company trainers and others employed in this field. Second and building upon this review, the article provides qualitative-empirical data on their professional self-concepts, qualification pathways, professional tasks as well as their income and additional qualifications.” (authors’ abstract; BIBB-Doku)
