Indikatoren als Treiber für eine Berufsbildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung

Abstract

„Der nachhaltigen Entwicklung im Sinne von ökologischem, ökonomischem und sozial verantwortlichem Handeln kommt eine wachsende Bedeutung zu. Bildung ist der Schlüssel dafür, Umdenken anzuregen und Handlungsalternativen aufzuzeigen. Der Nationale Aktionsplan konkretisiert Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung (BNE) auf nationaler Ebene und legt Ziele, Maßnahmen und Handlungsfelder u. a. für den Bereich der Berufsbildung fest. Um den Umsetzungsstand dieser Bemühungen in der beruflichen Bildung zu erfassen, werden Indikatoren benötigt, die (1) relevant sind, (2) die Ziele des zugrunde liegenden Konzepts adäquat abbilden, (3) eine regelmäßige Datenerhebung erlauben, (4) kommunizierbar und (5) interpretierbar sind. Der Beitrag hebt die Bedeutung von Indikatoren als Treiber für eine Berufsbildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung hervor. Es wird ein Modell vorgestellt, auf dessen Basis Indikatoren in der Berufsbildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung abgeleitet werden. Aus dem Modell werden Dimensionen bzw. Bereiche der Berufsbildung aufgezeigt, die Indikatoren mit hohem Potenzial ausweisen. In der Diskussion wird Bezug zur aktuellen Datenverfügbarkeit und zum Stand der Erhebbarkeit von Indikatoren für eine Berufsbildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung genommen.“ (Autorenreferat; BIBB-Doku)

„Sustainable development in the sense of ecological, economic and socially responsible action is becoming increasingly important. Education is the key to stimulating rethinking and showing alternative courses of action. The National Action Plan puts Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) into concrete terms at the national level and defines goals, measures and fields of action for the area of vocational education and training, among others. In order to record the implementation status of these efforts in vocational education, indicators are needed that (1) are relevant, (2) adequately reflect the goals of the underlying concept, (3) allow for regular data collection, (4) are communicable and (5) are interpretable. The paper highlights the importance of indicators as drivers for vocational education for sustainable development. A model is presented based on which indicators in vocational education for sustainable development are derived. From the model, dimensions or areas of vocational education are identified that show indicators with high potential. In the discussion, reference is made to the current availability of data and the status of the collectability of indicators for vocational education for sustainable development.“ (authors’ abstract; BIBB-Doku)
