Abstract
(Autorenreferat ; BIBBDoku)
"German companies are also dependent on well-trained staff at their foreign locations in order to survive in international competition. While companies in Germany can fall back on the established system of dual vocational training, they are often confronted with different framework conditions at the foreign locations. The transfer of vocational training according to the German model is therefore not possible or only possible in a modified form. This paper presents the most important factors influencing the choice of a suitable training strategy. Without a sufficient analysis of these factors and a flexible approach, it will be difficult to implement a sustainable vocational training that is oriented towards one’s own needs."
