"MoveOn" III: Folgen eines veränderten Mobilitätsverhaltens für Wirtschaft und Arbeitsmarkt

Abstract

"Durch das wachsende Mobilitätsaufkommen, die Digitalisierung und insbesondere den Klimaschutz unterliegt das Mobilitätssystem einem tiefgreifenden Wandel. Auf Basis der BIBB-IAB-Qualifikations- und Berufsprojektionen werden anhand einer Szenarioanalyse die Folgen eines Regimewechsels im Verkehr für die Wirtschaft und den Arbeitsmarkt in Deutschland bis zum Jahr 2040 abgeschätzt. Dabei wird ein Mobilitätsszenario gezeichnet, welches eine Transformation des Mobilitätssystems hin zu einem dekarbonisierten, umweltfreundlichen, effizienten, bezahlbaren und zukunftsfähigen Mobilitätssystem in Deutschland abbildet. Im Ergebnis ziehen die vorgenommenen Szenario-Einstellungen im gesamten Projektionszeitraum positive Wirkungen für Bruttoinlandsprodukt sowie Arbeitskräfteangebot und -bedarf nach sich." Based on the BIBB-IAB qualifications and occupation projections, we estimate the consequences of a regime change in transport for the economy and the labour market in Germany up to the year 2040 using a scenario analysis. We draw a mobility scenario that depicts a transformation of the mobility system towards a decarbonised, environmentally friendly, efficient, affordable and sustainable mobility system in Germany.
