Abstract

"Zu den Funktionen von Ausbildungsstätten gehört das Heranbilden von gesellschaftlich differenzierten Subjekten, deren künftige Rolle, Status und gesellschaftliche Stellung den normativen und kulturellen Erwartungen einer gegebenen Gesellschaft entsprechen müssen. Unter Berücksichtigung der im Gefolge des Übergangs von der Berufsbildung ins Erwerbsleben stattfindenden Veränderungen im Selbstwertgefühl, im Gefühl der Integration im Unternehmen und im Wert, welcher der Arbeit und der Familie beigemessen wird, zeigen die Ergebnisse, dass dieser Übergang auf signifikante Weise zur Herausbildung der Geschlechteridentität und ihrer Hierarchisierung beiträgt." "One of the functions of educational institutions is to create differentiated social subjects. Their Future roles, status and social positions have to conform to the normative and cultural expectations of a given society. Considering the individual variations of self-esteem, self-evaluation of the integration in the workplace, and the values attributed to family and occupational spheres in the wake of the transition from vocational training to employment, the results show that this transition contributes in a significant way to the production of gender identities and their hierarchal organization."
