Abstract
„The future of in-company continuing education depends to a large extent on the future of companies and thus on how companies assess it, according to a basic assumption of the project on which this article is based. The article is a field report on the structural challenges in the demand-oriented development of continuing education offerings using the example of the automotive industry. It offers a critical reflection from the perspective of innovation management, especially when entire industries are confronted with transformation. The first chapter describes how the needs were identified in the project and what they were. From chapter 2 onwards, challenges from the perspective of innovation management are mentioned in order to derive direct offers from the needs identified, and examples are given of how the project responded to these.” (authors’ abstract; BIBB-Doku)
