Abstract
“Based on the concept of critical diversity literacy, this article develops a proposal for teaching a critical reading practice in vocational education and training. In particular, the question of which learning processes are (or can be) triggered in students is explored. For this purpose, the theoretical perspective is briefly introduced and twelve learning objectives are formulated. Aiming on these learning objectives, learning units were developed in the context of the research project to be presented here, which serve to design diversity conscious professionalisation processes in the context of university seminars in vocational school teaching. The empirical basis of this contribution is the written work of students who refer to the learning units developed in the project. In the analysis of the students' papers, the multicomplex process underlying the counter-hegemonic learning is carefully traced and exemplified using empirical material.” (authors’ abstract; BIBB-Doku)
