Abstract
„The stress and strain experienced by teachers before and during the Covid-19 pandemic have been the subject of numerous studies. This article, on the other hand, provides information on the status quo of the stress experienced by teachers in different types of schools and examines which personality traits can be used for prediction. As a result, gender, self-efficacy and job satisfaction were identified as significant predictors of subjectively perceived stress. Teachers at vocational schools tend to experience less stress, which can be explained, among other things, by student behavior that differs from other types of schools. The high volume of organizational and administrative tasks is complained about across all school types. The study concludes by discussing potential relief and preventative measures for teacher training in the “new normal” for teachers after the Covid-19 pandemic.“ (author’s abstract; BIBB-Doku)
