Abstract
"Labour markets are changing due to megatrends such as digitalisation or demographic change, which results in a series of challenges for companies. Changed or entirely new competence requirements in digitalised working environments will have to be met with increasingly ageing workforces. Furthermore, vocational training and further training measures are also being moved into the digital space, raising the question of how age-appropriate and age-sensitive these digital learning environments are. Do they fit with the learning needs and desires of older workers, or do they pose an exclusion risk on the path to lifelong learning? The new junior research group “BeKomIng Digital” at the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB) would like to explore these and other related questions. This article provides an insight into the conceptual framework of the junior research group, then presents the planned research agenda and concludes with an outlook." (Autors abstract; BIBB-Doku)
