Abstract
(Autorenreferat; BIBB-Doku)
"(Vocational) Education as promotor of sustainable creative competence (Nachhaltige Gestaltungskompetenz) is regarded as a key factor for the development of our future society. Using an integrative-complementary connectivity approach, this study conceptualizes a competence model of sustainable creative competence for the domain of (vocational) education and specifies it for the apprenticeship of sales and retail. By linking perspectives from Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) management, vocational education, theory and practice as well as school and work but simultaneously linking different data sources as results from empirical management studies, systematic literature reviews as well as focus group discussions with practitioners as company trainers and vocational school teachers, patterns are identified. These findings result in the formulation of vocational competence facets of a sustainable creative competence. They may stimulate transformation processes at the individual, organizational and system levels. Although we cannot generalize at this stage, we develop an evidence-based competence model as base of operation for specifying curricular learning goals and constructing instructional and assessment-oriented designs for promoting a sustainable creative competence. These designs have to be empirically proven by later steps." (authors' abstract; BIBB-Doku)
