Entwicklungslinien des beruflichen Bildungswesens und der Ausbildung von Gewerbelehrern - eine historische Analyse

Abstract

"Im Rahmen des Beitrags werden die Historie der Berufsschulen und der Gewerbelehrerausbildung auf ihre zugrundeliegenden Paradigmen untersucht. Es wird deutlich, dass Aufgaben der Berufsschulen und Gewerbelehrerausbildung ständig wechselnden Paradigmen folgten. Die beiden heute existierenden und konkurrierenden Ansätze der Gewerbelehrerausbildung folgen schwerpunktmäßig den Prinzipien der Wissenschafts- bzw. der Situationsorientierung. Wirtschaftspädagogische Studiengänge weisen hingegen traditionell eine starke Wissenschaftsorientierung auf und folgen auch heute noch diesem Prinzip. Als Ursachen für diese Differenzen werden der ständige historische Paradigmenwandel und daraus resultierend weniger tradierte Positionen der Berufspädagogik benannt. Hinzu kommen Differenzen in den Wissensbereichen von Ingenieuren und Facharbeitern, die durch den Wandel der Ingenieurwissenschaften entstanden sind und so im Bereich der Wirtschaftspädagogik nicht auftreten. Drittens wird die Situation der Berufspädagogik, nicht nur - wie die Wirtschaftspädagogik - auf eine berufliche Fachrichtung fokussieren zu können, als ursächlich gesehen." "Within this paper, the history of the German vocational schools and vocational teacher education programs are analysed regarding the underlying paradigms. You can see that the purposes of the vocational schools und the vocational teacher education programs have followed several differing paradigms over time. Today, there are two differing and competing concepts of how vocational teachers should be qualified. One concept prefers to orient vocational teacher education towards science. In the other concept, working situations are the centre of reference. While these two concepts are relevant for the area of vocational education and training, degree programs of business and economics education normally followed and still follow the first concept, i.e. economic sciences are their centre of reference and there is no competing situation between differing concepts. Within this paper, this difference is explained by the above mentioned paradigm shifts in the area of vocational teacher education. In addition, differences between the knowledge of skilled workers and engineers are mentioned. These differences are caused by the trend of engineering sciences to mathematization and internationalization. In the area of business and economic education, there's no such difference to business administration. Third, vocational education and training refers to much more vocational disciplines than business and economic education." (author's abstract; BIBB-Doku)
