Berufsbildungspolitik als Forschungsfeld: Gegenstände und Zugänge

Abstract

„Der Bereich Berufsbildungspolitik wird gegenwärtig nur wenig in der Berufsbildungsforschung thematisiert und diskutiert. In den vergangenen Jahren wurde das Feld zunehmend durch einzelne Beiträge aus der Politikwissenschaft geprägt. Mit diesem Sammelband soll die auf Berufsbildungspolitik gerichtete Diskussion in der Berufs- und Wirtschaftspädagogik neu befördert werden, um auch eine fachwissenschaftliche Beschäftigung mit dem Gegenstand anzuregen. In diesem Beitrag werden dafür die im Sammelband enthaltenen Beiträge im Hinblick auf die von ihnen untersuchten Gegenstände und gewählten Zugänge strukturiert und reflektiert, wobei letztere auf der Grundlage einer hier neu entwickelten Typologie untersucht werden. Eine solche berufs- und wirtschaftspädagogische Perspektive erlaubt es, Leerstellen in der auf Berufsbildungspolitik gerichteten Berufsbildungsforschung zu identifizieren und zu schließen.“ (Autorenreferat; BIBB-Doku)“The politics of Vocational Education and Training (VET) is a topic that remains little addressed in current VET research. In recent years, this field has been increasingly shaped by individual contributions from political science. Hence, the aim of this book is to stimulate the scholarly debate on the politics of VET in VET research. To this end, this paper structures and reflects on the contributions of the book with regard to the objects they examine and the approaches they choose. We examine the latter on the basis of a newly developed typology and argue that such a perspective on the politics of VET allows to identify and close existing gaps in VET research.“ (authors’ abstract; BIBB-Doku)
