Potenziale der Strukturationstheorie für die berufs- und wirtschaftspädagogische Analyse der Weiterbildung(spolitik)

Abstract

„In der Berufs- und Wirtschaftspädagogik wird mitunter ein Theoriedefizit konstatiert. Mit dem Aufsatz soll einen Beitrag geleistet werden, dem zu begegnen, indem ein Vorschlag vorgelegt wird, mit Hilfe der Strukturationstheorie zu einer stärkeren analytischen Durchdringung spezifischer Forschungsgegenstände gelangen zu können. Exemplifiziert wird dies anhand der Nationalen Weiterbildungsstrategie (NWS), die sich durch ihre Adressierung sowohl struktureller Aspekte als auch individueller Handlungen hierfür in besonderer Weise anbietet. Die strukturationstheoretische Betrachtung bietet einen Ordnungsrahmen und bringt Erkenntnisse über Schwerpunkte und Leerstellen der Strategie. Im Ausblick werden weitere Schritte für eine noch differenziertere Analyse sowie Potenziale der Verwendung des theoretischen Ansatzes aufgezeigt.” (Autorenreferat; BIBB-Doku)

“In vocational and business education there is sometimes a lack of theory. This article is intended to adress this by presenting a proposal for using structuration theory to achieve a stronger analytical perspective of specific research subjects. This is exemplified by the National Continuing Education Strategy (NWS), which is particularly suitable for this purpose as it addresses both structural aspects and individual actions. The structuration-theoretical approach provides a framework and offers insights into the strategy's focal points and gaps.
