| dc.description.abstract | Bei dem vorliegenden Band der ITB-Arbeitspapiere handelt es sich um den zweiten Bericht zum Projekt "Participation in Continuing Vocational Education and Training" (PARTICIPA), welches am Beispiel von ausgewählten Regionen Europas der Frage nachgeht, welche Faktoren das Weiterbildungsverhalten von Facharbeitern und technischen Beschäftigten in kleinen und mittelgroßen Unternehmen bestimmen. Im Mittelpunkt der Darstellung stehen hier die Ergebnisse der quantitativen Studien, die im Wesentlichen auf standardisierten Befragungen nach dem so genannten ISSTAL-Modell (Interdisciplinary, Sequential-Specifity Time-Allocation,Lifespan) von Smith und Cookson beruhen.
