Abstract
(Autorenrefert ; BIBB-Doku)
"Against the background of a historical-institutionalist theoretical framework, this article deals with the validation scheme as part of vocational post-qualification in Switzerland, with a focus on implementation in German-speaking Switzerland. In particular, it examines the question of whether the challenges in implementation can also be attributed to the modularised approach of the scheme and shows that such a connection does indeed exist. This is traced back to the competence-oriented curricular differentiation logic of the scheme, which differs from the learning location-oriented differentiation logic of dual vocational training and in particular increases the complexity in the organisation of so-called supplementary education."
