Der Transfer ist tot. Lang lebe der Transfer. Kritische Reflexion von Innovations- und Transferansprüchen in der Berufsbildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung

Abstract

„‘Der Transfer ist tot. Lang lebe der Transfer.‘ bringt als Titel die Ambivalenz zum Ausdruck, in der sich berufs- und wirtschaftspädagogische Forschung und insbesondere die Arbeit in Modellversuchen bewegt. Während ein funktionalistisch-lineares Verständnis von Transfer in Forschung und Theorie längst überholt ist, bleibt er in der Praxis ein zentrales Element bildungspolitischer Strategien. Der Beitrag setzt hier an. Aufbauend auf bisherigen Ansätzen (u. a. Schemme et al., 2017; Schlömer et al., 2024) und am Beispiel der BBNE-Modellversuche des BIBB wird gezeigt, dass Transferprozesse komplexe, prozesshafte und kontextgebundene Aushandlungen darstellen und dass politisch administrative Ansprüche zugleich strukturelle Widersprüche und epistemische Verkürzungen reproduzieren. Der Beitrag versteht sich als theoretisch-essayistische Reflexion, die bestehende Transferverständnisse in der Berufsbildung kritisch rekonstruiert und heuristisch erweitert. Ausgehend von Bronfenbrenners ökosystemischer Theorie und Batesons epistemologischer Reflexion wird Transfer nicht als Übertragung, sondern als emergenter, responsiver Prozess modelliert. Damit wird ein kritisch transformatives Transferverständnis entfaltet, das Reflexivität, Kontextsensibilität und die Eröffnung neuer Welt- und Selbstverhältnisse in den Mittelpunkt stellt.“ (Autorenreferat; BIBB-Doku)

„’The Transfer is dead. Long live the transfer.’ This tension expresses the ambivalence in which vocational education research, and in particular the work of pilot projects, is situated. While a functionalist and linear understanding of transfer has long been outdated in research and theory, it remains a central element of educational policy strategies in practice. This article takes up this paradox. Building on previous contributions (e.g. Schemme et al., 2017; Schlömer et al., 2024) and using the VETSD pilot projects as an example, it shows that transfer processes are complex, processual and context-bound negotiations, while politically and administratively framed expectations simultaneously reproduce structural contradictions and epistemic reductions. The article is conceived as a theoretical and essayistic reflection that critically reconstructs existing understandings of transfer in vocational education and heuristically extends them.” (authors’ abstract; BIBB-Doku)
