Abstract
(Autorenreferat, BIBB-Doku)
"Although the political education belongs traditionally to the subject of instruction of vocational schools, it enjoys only low respect among the actors involved. The reason for this lies in specific features of this type of school, among other things, in a permanent, dynamic technical and economic development, in a close cooperation with its "dual partners", and in an high amount of lessons given by teachers untrained in their subjects. On the other hand the educational mission of vocational schools ("knowledge transfer of professional and social competences") defines a high claim, which can only be secured in applying contemporary concepts. The presented paper is an attempt to take advantage of the learning field Curriculum in two ways: The acquisition of knowledge and skills is sought of in a global approach, that means interlacing synergistically civic-economic education of independent training fields and the approach of significant political and economic issues in vocational learning fields."
